An Award-Winning Urban CQB Airsoft Site in the heart of Hampshire

 One of Hampshires best CQB sites since 2010.

The site is made up of building complexes and open ground, all set up to maximise the players experience.

They cater for all levels of player from 12 years of age, newbies to the expert geardo ... all are welcome!

4th June 2023, we visited Ironsight Airsoft due to this being the location of the UKAL meet. On arrival, we made our way to one of the bunkers to set up. We booked in where we were able to pre-order pizza for lunch. After booking in, chrono was out the other side of the bunker where fps limits are on the website. Even though it's mostly a CQB site, I was still able to run my sniper due to some open areas. We then had a good safety brief in the gaming field, and it was game time.

There was a good number of players which made the day run smoothly and with no issues of hit-taking. Everyone was enjoying themselves and marshals were ensuring players understood the objectives. They maintained good level of play and enjoyment throughout the day. 

There was one part of the day I didn't enjoy as much and that was constant pushing of play from the marshals. There were a few game modes where the respawn of the attacking team was on the last player/marshal and the marshals were continuously pushing players up but this often meant being very bunched together with the risk of hitting friendlies. 

At lunch, there was pizza delivered and some of the UKAL members got a photoshoot with Dan Airsoft Photography.

 

The site as a whole was well run. The only part I found slightly weird was that players weren't able to leave the site during game play as the bunkers were in the game area and were shut off from one side to create the 'safe zone'. 

I personally wouldn't head back here with it being a CQB site and having no option but to participate in the closer game play which isn't something I enjoy.
