Sunday 20th March 2022, I had the pleasure of visiting Humber Airsoft with some friends and the doggo. We camped the night before so we could be on full form for the Sunday. 

When I arrived Saturday evening, I was greeted by a marshal who gave me a rundown of the site and explained how long they had it, average players etc. He then set off to then greet us again Sunday morning. There was a little shelter area with benches and some benches just outside too for nice weather. The area was well laid out and was clean also. Players began to arrive and most were offloading from their car after being shown where to park to optimise the space they had. Hot breakfast was available as well as tea and coffee and other consumables. They had a little shop which was well stocked with parts you may need for your skirmish day.

Briefing began at 10 and there was a clear map for the players who weren’t too familiar with the site which was handy. Marshals kept the briefs very strict and had good engagement from the players. Objectives were very well explained with hardly any questions being asked and I didn’t come across any confusion from players either. They chose their games so you got to play at all different parts of the site rather than basing every game around their main feature which is the firebase. 

Lunch was great with a wide variety of food to choose from. The caterer even came around during the morning to ask players what they’d like to tally it on her chart. Plenty of hot food and snacks to scoff before the afternoon. 

During the day, I didn’t come across any cheaters and with the minimal disagreements there were, marshals addressed them well. Everyone was there to enjoy the game.

This is now one of my favourite sites (even though it pushes my fitness levels) and I really hope to play there more regularly.
