Combat Airsoft is an exciting, safe and well organised Airsoft venue set in the beautiful surroundings of the Thetford Forest.

They offer a fully immersing COMBAT experience designed to get adrenaline pumping and sense's stimulated. All games are suitable for anyone aged 12 or over and fully supervised with professional and experienced safety Marshall's.

On 15th May 2022, I was invited alongside an Essex based team to attend Combat Thetford. I had played there many years ago when I first started airsoft and hadn’t been back since. 

Upon arrival, Marshals were directed us on where to park to maximise the space available. We then had to queue for the sign in which opened at 9am. Here we could order food for lunch as well. We set up under a large military tent with numerous tables. Chrono was open straight away and it had a decent range also so a few people were using that to test their RIFs before heading out. We were then given a safety brief and headed out onto the field. Only downside I’d mention is we didn’t begin the first game until around 11 but we stayed out on the field until lunch time just after 1pm. 

During the games, marshals were getting stuck in and keeping a close eye to help people with objectives if they were confused on where to go. There were a few rentals but marshals did their best to help them with any issues. The game areas were all woodland with a few props and barriers which they tended to base the games around. Some areas were quite dense but others really open. It varied quite a bit. 

In the safe zone, they had numerous facilities with a canteen, shop with stock other than airsoft and they were also facilitating paintballers but kept them in a separate area to avoid confusion of the groups. 

Overall, the site was well run and I’d recommend for a decent day of airsoft.
