AWA Herts is an airsoft site situated in 78 acres of beautiful woodland near Sawbridgeworth, Herts, just off the M11, between Harlow and Bishops Stortford. They are open throughout the year and welcome everyone from dedicated airsofters to individuals or parties of up to 20 people for both private and corporate events. They run a mixture of gaming types that cater for all. From fast paced short games to longer, bigger multiple objective games.

So on the 2nd May 2021, I had booked on to AWA Herts and from the moment we arrived on site, marshals were very friendly and more than helpful. There were numerous gazebos set up with benches underneath for players to unload their gear. Due to social distancing, there was also signs restricting how many people were in certain areas. There was their own store with pyros, grenades and patches for the games.

A strong and clear safety brief in the morning and a chrono and we were allowed out on the field. 

With 78 acres of woodland, there's a mixture of forestry suitable for all types of players. There were a few trenches which were great fun to defend and also a village with buildings around another area of the site. 

We played different style games which I thoroughly enjoyed and all players were friendly and willing to give advice on the site. At lunch, we had a Meal Deal which consisted of a burger, crisps, chocolate bar and drink for only £5. This is a great deal!

Overall, the site was great and good fun to visit!
